AVACOM's offline-first educational platform.
eClass Digital is AVACOM's educational platform, designed with an offline-first architecture: it works fully without an internet connection and syncs content automatically when a network is available. It includes ready-to-use curriculum content and encrypts classroom data locally.
eClass Digital is the educational software of the AVACOM ecosystem. Its distinctive trait is that it is built to operate without depending on the internet: the connection is optional, not a requirement for teaching.
In most platforms, the offline mode is a reduced patch that activates when the network fails. In eClass Digital it is the opposite: the offline system is the base architecture, and the connection is used only to sync new content.
Syncing happens automatically in scheduled windows, when a network is available. That way a lesson is never interrupted by a lack of signal.
The platform ships with curriculum content ready to use from day one, adapted by region and level. Classroom data is encrypted locally and the system is aligned with frameworks such as GDPR, CCPA and Colombia’s Habeas Data Law.
A platform that depends on the cloud assumes stable connectivity and delivers a degraded experience when there is none. eClass Digital keeps the same quality with or without internet, which makes it especially useful in rural classrooms and in contexts with unstable connectivity.
